Pick: Russell Westbrook (Fanduel - $11000)

These are Russ' lines from last year against the Magic:

41pts, 12reb, 16ast, good for 77.4 Fanduel points.
57pts, 13reb, 11ast, 3stl, good for 91.1 Fanduel points.

He is averaging over 84 points on Fanduel against the Magic. I'll repeat that. He is averaging over 84 points on Fanduel against the Magic. Granted, this year is different with the additions of Melo and Paul George, but Russ has been on a roll lately. Averaging a triple-double and over 60 points on Fanduel in his last 4 games, I can see Russ get to 70 points tonight if not more. The blowout potential is there, but I think I'm going to start Russell and build around him tonight.

Kick: Marc Gasol (Fanduel - $9000)

Memphis has hit a bit of a rough patch after starting well, losing eight in a row. After his monster game against Indy, Marc has failed to reach value three of the five games since. That includes a fourth quarter benching in the last game against the Nets. Marc took it personal and is ready to get back out there, but will be in a tough spot against his older brother, Pau, and the Spurs. The Spurs have a top five defense, fifth in rebounds, and play at the second slowest speed. With the elevated price point and a tough match up, I'm kicking Marc to the DFS curb today.

That's what I got for today. This wasn't so bad for a first article, I think. Let's see if it pays off.
